OKC has no fire power without Russell Westbrook. Kevin Martin sucks. He has the ugliest shot in the game and it is so slow. Kevin Durant is Kevin Durant but he benefits greatly from Westbrook. I seriously think Scottie Brooks should be isolating Nick Collison. I think Collison has game, he just always has deferred his whole career. I just think Westbrook always got the blame. The bottom line is he is the best point guard in the game. I think his game is not what it could be if he didn't have a Durant on his team. Durant should be getting the majority of the shots. But Westbrooks mid range pull up is unstoppable!!

Thunder Passes Spurs for Conference Lead
Things are looking pretty good for that top spot.
In what set up as a must-win game of sorts for the Thunder to stay in the driver’s seat in its quest to finish first in the Western Conference standings, Oklahoma City marvelously rose to the occasion, crushing Golden State 116-97 on Thursday night inside a rowdy Oracle Arena.
With the win, the Thunder moved a half game ahead of San Antonio with three left to play. Both teams will be in action Friday night, the Thunder concluding this three-game trip at Portland, while the Spurs host Sacramento.

And suddenly neither is the status of center Andrew Bogut, who aggravated a sprained left ankle in the first quarter Thursday night and did not return in the Warriors’ 116-97 loss to Oklahoma City.
Bogut, who had microfracture surgery on the same ankle late last April, suffered the sprain in Tuesday’s playoff-clinching victory over Minnesota, according to a team spokesperson.
He aggravated it Thursday and exited the game with 2:55 left in the first quarter. He went to the locker room for the remainder of the night. It was not immediately clear whether his removal from the game was precautionary or indicative of something more serious.

All Dork Weekend
I am a big fan of basketball. Have played it all my life. I could shoot by myself for ever. ( As long as I have a rebounder). But I find myself disliking the NBA more and more. The fact we have to watch the same stupid teams on National television. I am getting sick of watching Dwight Howard miss three throws. I would way rather have Pau Gasol! If the Lakers never got Dwight Howard they would be a contender and that is a guarantee! All they needed was Nash. I also am feed up with everybody always covering and talking about the Lakers. ( I guess i am doing it to), it is like the league is appeasing the women fans. Not true basketball fans. Another thing that annoys me is Colin Cowherd. I used to kinda like the guy. Still kinda do. He is good with analogies and does make some good points. But they way he is in love with Lebron just makes me want to shut the radio off. The only people he lets call in to his show agree with him. Have some balls and let people call in that disagree with you. Jordan was better than Lebron. PERIOD. Also did you see All Star weekend? If you did you saw Dwayne Wade wearing Leather pants with a suit coat. What is with the leather pants? Do they think that looks good? Kevin Durant with a bunch of plastic balls on his shirt. Russell Westbrook wearing glasses with no lenses. These guys are dorks. Dwight Howard is the biggest dork of all. All these guys are not likeable. Kevin Durant used to be the good guy. I just heard a clip where he said when the clock is running down he might take another dribble before launching a 3/4 court shot, so he gets it off after the clock expires. Just to save his field goal percentage. Are you freaking serious? The NBA is just not as likeable as it used to be.

FED UP!!!
I am so sick of watching the same teams play on National Television. It is ridiculous!! I am a big fan of basketball but I find my self not wanting to watch basketball. You can only watch so many Miami Heat games. You can only watch so many Laker games. The Lakers are not even good. It is like the NBA is appeasing the woman fans. Basketball fans don't want to watch the same players every night. I know how Lebron and D Wade play. I want to see other players. They are only hurting the game. It is a joke!! And have you ever heard the TNT crew call a game. Sometimes it seems like they don't know their on air. I enjoy them sometime but sometimes they are very annoying!! All I am saying is I would much rather watch a Toronto Raptors vs Minnesota Timberwolves. I would much rather watch players like Luke Ridnour, Ricky Rubio, Rudy Gay, Dion Waiters, etc. I am sick of watching the HEAT!! I am sick of watching Dwight Howard brick free throws!!!! I am sick of watching Steve Nash being a follower and having no confidence and just bow down to Kobe and company.
